depa Withdraws President/CEO Recruitment Notice Pending Selection Process Review
November 24, 2025, Bangkok – Digital Economy Promotion Agency (depa) withdrew the announcement for the recruitment of President/CEO of the Agency while the selection process is under review.
At its 6/2568 meeting on November 19, 2025, the Board of Commissioners of depa resolved to withdraw the recruitment announcement dated November 3, 2025, and to review the associated selection process. An official announcement regarding this decision was issued on November 20, 2025.
The resolution was made due to the incomplete number and composition of the Subcommittee responsible for the recruitment and remuneration of the depa President/ CEO, which currently cannot perform its duties until a replacement is appointed for the resigned member.
Furthermore, during the meeting, the Board reviewed and revised the regulations governing the recruitment of the President/ CEO, including updates to the process, action plan, public relations strategy, and the format for candidates’ vision presentations to better reflect the changing economic and social context of Thailand. This comprehensive review aims to strengthen transparency, ensure equality, and provide fairness to all applicants.
It was also noted that no applications have been submitted to date. Therefore, the Board deemed it appropriate to postpone the selection timeline to genuinely allow a wider range of interested individuals to apply.
