Prof.<\/strong> Dr. Nuttapon Nimmanphatcharin<\/strong>, President\/CEO<\/strong> of<\/strong> the Digital<\/strong> Economy<\/strong> Promotion<\/strong> Agency<\/strong> (depa)<\/strong> has revealed that the Thai gaming industry in the year 2022 achieved a remarkable total value of 34,556 billion baht, reflecting an impressive growth rate of 12% over the past five years (2018 \u2013 2022). However, it is worth noting that the value of imported games from foreign developers, both on PC and mobile platforms, continues to represent a substantial share of 97% in the industry\u2019s total worth. This figure surpasses the value of exports for consumer consumption. Consequently, depa<\/strong> has undertaken a transformational collaboration with partners from both the public and private sectors to raise awareness and establish a platform for showcasing Thai gaming accomplishment, which are recognized as high-potential export products for the nation. Representatives are actively participated in the Business Day (B2B) activities at Gamescom Asia 2023,
\nthe largest gaming expo in Southeast Asia, held in Singapore from October 19 to 22, which gather individuals from diverse nationalities within the gaming industry, including Spain, the Netherlands, Japan, Singapore, China, and others, to participate in showcasing their works, business negotiations, forums, and pitching sessions.
